This guide is designed to help faculty locate resources and information on Diversity, Equity, and Inclusions and related teaching and learning practices.

The library has a large collection of resources relating to teaching and learning, IDEA, and higher education. Resources include everything from pedagogy, culturally responsive teaching, higher education and race, and all other aspects of IDEA. The curated collection of resources on this guide are divided by format to make it easy to find what you need. Though this guide is primarily for educators, students may find some of the resources useful as well. 

Library Resources for Faculty

Though this guide is devoted to IDEA and higher education, the library has many other guides that might be useful. 

Racial Justice and Anti-Racist E-Reading List: we have collected a large variety of ebooks, articles, and other resources on racial issues.

Free Image Collections: Links to image banks featuring diverse models for inclusive representation in your Canvas modules or online textbooks -- and more.

Book in Common 2022: An online guide to Thi Bui's The Best We Could Do, plus more.

Banned Books Week: The books that get people upset are usually about LGBT+ or racial issues.  Find lots of information on this guide.

LGBTQ Resources at the Library: find resources at, or outside, the library.

Black History Month: Library resources about Black history.
International Education Week: A collection of global literature and resources.

Preserving Your Family History: Created in conjunction with National Hispanic/Latinx Heritage Month, this guide introduces you to the preservation of your family's history.

Since the CSU system will now have ethnic studies courses as part of GE requirements, we're working on developing guides. These will be expanded to support the curriculum as it becomes available, but for now we have quite a lot of helpful materials:
