The first place to go on campus for your questions and concerns is the UndocuCenter, which offers support to undocumented and mixed-status families.

The Higher Ed Immigration Portal offers assistance to students and institutions.

Most of these resources are available in English and Spanish, and often other languages as well.

• The Sacramento Rapid Response Network covers the counties north of Sacramento, including Butte.  Call their 24-hour hotline to report ICE activity or get help for someone detained in the last 24 hours: (916)382-0256.  Check out their updated flyer detailing your rights.
  • For counties that are not in the Sacramento/north area, check the hotline directory.
• AILA is the American Immigration Lawyers Association.  Use their website to:
  • Keep track of the latest news and rule changes
  • Learn the news at the blog
• The Immigrant Defense Project has great information on dealing with ICE in every situation.  Share their infographics around your social media!
• The National Immigration Law Center offers advice on warrants and subpoenas.
• The Immigrant Legal Resource Center (ILRC) has very detailed information on your rights, including:
  • Print your own red cards (lots of languages) and hand them out.
  • Know your rights and what to do right now with this short flyer, available in several languages.
  • The Preparedness Toolkit is a detailed document, available in English and Spanish.
  • Use the Step-by-Step Family Preparedness Plan.
  • Read expert advice on many different topics!
• The National Immigration Project has an informative "Resources" page that explains recent legal developments for both practitioners and community members. For example their "Community Explainer: Laken Riley Act" offers an explanation in non-legalese about the bill and how it will affect the community. 
• Libraries want to help.  The American Libraries Association has articles and resources.
