Tik Tok's algorithm is unlike any other we have seen. Whereas, clicks and likes were considered part of a person's data profile, called active engagement, Tik Tok also uses passive engagement. You will have to be intentional in your searching and search across multiple platforms to be sure you are getting the big picture of your research topic. Be aware, algorithms are found everywhere, so make sure to search outside your comfort zone.
