March is Women's History Month and there are many events you can celebrate with Butte College. The Culture and Community Center is hosting a series of listen and learn conversations tied to the podcast Amended. The podcast "travels from the 1800's through to the present day to show us a quest for women’s full equality that has always been as diverse, complex and unfinished as the nation itself." So whether you would like to participate in the weekly conversations or just want to know more about suffrage and women's rights, the library has put together a reading list inspired by the podcast and women's rights around the world.
There are lots of other options besides books if you would like to learn more about suffrage and women's right in America. Here are a few selected resources to get you started.
