To celebrate National Library Week the library is offering a workshop for participants to create their own washi tape journal. One of the easiest books you can create yourself, this workshop will teach you the process from start to finish including cutting, folding, and assembling the cover and pages. If you have ever wanted to sew your own bookbinding, now is your chance! All supplies are included. Though the workshop will take participants through the process with plenty of time, don’t worry if you have to leave a bit early or cannot finish. We will provide instructions for you to take with you to finish your book or make another in the future. Students, staff, and faculty are all welcome. To ensure that we have enough materials for everyone, please RSVP to the event.
