Banned Books Week is back and this year we are able to celebrate in person again!
What is Banned Books Week? Banned Books Week is an annual event celebrating the freedom to read while calling attention to the harms of censorship. If you would like to celebrate with us, you can stop by the library to learn about book censorship stories from across the United States. We also have giveaways such as buttons, bracelets, and bookmarks. We also have a selection of banned books you can check out. Displays and giveaways will be up in both the Main Campus and Chico Center libraries.
