Librarian Rachel Arteaga will present a workshop on archiving and preserving family history for National Hispanic/Latinx Heritage Month.
Event Description:
Because Latinx heritage is both incredibly diverse and indelibly part of the American story, there is great value in preserving our heritage. But where do you start? Whether you have few items to preserve or an excessive amount to sort through, this presentation will serve as an introduction to preserving your unique heritage. Topics covered include oral and written histories, physical preservation practices, and sharing your story with a wider audience. Everyone is welcome, as you are sure to learn something about starting your preservation journey.
Date: 10/13/2020: Time: 2:00 PM - 3:00 PM
